Francis Campbell is an instrumental guitarist/composer writing largely in an English/Celtic folk style but with traces of jazz and an ethereal mood in places.

Drawing on influences such as British folk guitarists Martin Simpson, John Martyn, Tony McManus and John Renbourn as well as other less folk oriented guitarists like Michael Hedges, Joni Mitchell and Pat Metheny, Francis Campbell combines these different elements and influences with a distinctive sounding result.
