Jonny Barber & The Rhythm Razors hail from Denver, Colorado. Jonny worked closely with Rock-A-Billy Record Co. label founder Willie Lewis for many years, and eventually formed his own band. Western Riot is the second full-length album from the band, following up 2010's Cut Close.

Jonny grew up in the West, and wanted to do an album where the songs have a rockabilly sound, but a Western theme and feel.
