Stuart MacQuarrie and Jamie Toms are a folk duo, who add their own contemporary twist to the growing modern Cornish folk scene. Since their formation MacQuarrie and Toms have forged a unique sound, incorporating modern effects units with traditional playing techniques to create a far bigger sound than might be expected from a guitar and fiddle duo. With rich basslines, loops and harmonies to complement their playing, MacQuarrie and Toms maintain an 'acoustic' sound while adding depth and texture to their music.
