简介
Sarah Glynn is an Austin, TX based multi-instrumentalist, who writes and records her own material. After her indie-rock group Tribella went on hiatus in the fall of 2011, she began recording her first solo album since 2004's "To Sweeten Up." Halfway through recording, she grew detatched from the material and took a break for several months. She returned with newfound inspiration, resulting in the cover of Peter Gabriel's "Mercy Street" - the first in a series of singles to be released under the collection "Foreign Languages." Sarah grew up in the midwest during the 80's and 90's, influenced by a wide array of music, including new wave, progressive & classic rock, grunge, and jazz. She is classically trained on piano and violin, and has studied modern guitar for 15+ years. She has spent much of her time touring the U.S., sharing the stage with acts such as Keane, Juliana Hatfield, and Mason Jennings. Several of Sarah's songs have been featured in movies (including PBS's Girl Wrestler and the cult classic Prize Whores). Sarah also writes and produces music for Industrie's promotional clothing videos. Sarah plans to tour in support of "Foreign Languages."
