Second solo album by Ignacio Bejar, product of his numerous travels and concerts around the world, both as a solo performer and in association with several musical bands integrated by musicians from different countries and cultures, in his search for a universal language. Ignacio Bejar has rescued the essence of music as spiritual road towards unity, as a meeting place: He frees all his resources, instruments, voices and sounds to bring a direct message to the heart. ———- Life without music would be impossible - after all, in reality everything is vibration and movement. Music has been created since the dawn of humankind, ritualistic in nature, connecting us with the magical and spiritual world, with the earth, healing and uniting minds. But it would seem all of this has been forgotten in our contemporary 'civilization', though this transcendental sense still survives in certain cultures which haven't lost contact with their roots. I believe that nowadays, more than ever, we need to unearth these treasures of humanity to heal our wounds and awake, through love, the light we all have inside us - that light which is who we are, hidden behind so much fear, pain and suffering. This album has been produced with the intention of creating a resonance, to reach out to those who wish to receive it. Music is ultimately information working on many levels, and it is time to uncover and discover the secrets we have within us - as a great master said, long ago: “Search for the truth and it will set you free.” The power of art is undervalued, but when it becomes an act of conscious love, it is capable of breaking down barriers, uniting hearts and bringing us closer to the Infinite Artist. Then we can taste, albeit fleetingly, the echoes of the lost paradise and remember the way home. With this album, I've had the challenge of bringing together my compositions alone with my various instruments, through different moods, as a way of listening and unifying the distinct voices I have within me, allowing them to express themselves, find and harmonize with each other. Along the way there have been many journeys, both inward and to far off magical places, many experiences meeting special people, distinct styles of music and of course, there have been many concerts. And all this has involved a process of self-discovery and learning on many levels over several years. That's why I feel very fortunate to be able to share these treasures with you - these sounds from all over the world which have seduced me, which I have sculpted with my hands and breath, melodies which have been given a voice through me and which I hope will give you pleasure, vibrations and take you on a journey “towards the light”.
