Tierra Verde is the first children’s music album to come from Chaco released in Argentina and available also in Japan. The album is characterized by a range of local popular musical styles. It mixes themes of landscapes, animals and everyday life in North-Eastern Argentina with clear didactic and ecological message. With the collaboration of a children’s choir and and a hint of rock, Tierra Verde was recorded entirely by local musicians: Esteban Peon (drums and percussion), Guido Romero Scherf (electric guitar), Emiliano Khayat (accordion), Mauro Siri (bass, guitar, main vocals) and Seba Ibarra (guitar, bass, main vocals). They have also recently adapted it into a children’s show which has been featured in many different cities and towns across Argentina. In 2011 it was selected by Club del disco to become part of their catalog.
