A word which comes to mind regarding CPA is “clarity.” That is, clarity of style, sound, lyric, and most importantly, clarity of message. CPA is driven by a passion for self-respect, social equality, and political awareness. This is a message that their fans identify with on a visceral level. This message coupled with punchy guitar riffs, fat, raspy bass lines, and thought provoking drum parts, CPA has carved out a niche for themselves with a compelling blend of talent and musicianship which sends scintillated chills down the spines of audiences that have been starved of new, substantive music.

Like many modern Punk Rock groups, CPA traces it's stylistic roots to many bands including Descendents, Bad Religion, NOFX, and Green Day. However, CPA is far from anachronistic. The band’s instrumentation may be traditional, but it is their subtle harmonic and melodic idiosyncrasies which break fashion and separate them from the hegemony of current popular music.
