With piano & flute as vehicles, imagination, her love for children, beautiful melodies and nostalgia for a summer past, composer Stella Tziva has composed 15 melodies, to describe musically, summer images from village life and feelings these images create. She obtained a Bachelor in Piano and went on to achieve a Diploma in Piano in the class of the soloist and author, Anthoula Papadopoulou at the Greek Conservatory. She holds a Bachelor of Harmony. She has attended courses in Counterpoint and Jazz lessons with the soloist Yiorgos Psihoyios. She has attended seminars on music, such as "Comparative Study of Tonal Music with Literature" from the Greek Conservatory, "Music Information and Search" from Ionian University, Master classes in piano with great soloists etc. She works as a piano teacher at the Municipal Conservatory of Marousi and as an editor working with the electronic journals www.culturenow.gr and the ICHODIASTASIS magazine. She has attended seminars lyrics by Agatha Dimitrouka and wrote lyrics for composers, Tatiana Zografou, Pigi Lykoudi, Kostis Kritsotaki and Paris Mamma. She published the books "The Wolf who learns piano", a guide for children who want to learn the piano, the "15 Summer Musical Images" 15 melodies 5 notes 4 hands for piano and "15 Summer Musical Images" 15 melodies for piano and flute (or violin, oboe, mandolin). She is currently completing her last book, the musical tale "The leaf that wanted to travel."
