Never before released tracks featuring Jaco Pastorius. These were recorded during studio session in Miami while Michael Rogers, steel drummer was working on his record "Holiday for Pans" while he was attending the University of Miami, studying music composition. Jaco Pastorius asked at the time who was the best steel drummer in Florida and Michael was invited to his house in Pompano Beach. From that meeting they collaborated on a few songs. Michael then moved to California to focus on his own music projects. He kept in touch with Jaco but didn't pursue releasing the music because of Jaco's struggling health at the time. The music went into Michael Rogers archives and was forgotten. Thanks to the curiosity of Bunny Brunel and other musicians who remembered Michaels work with Jaco, these historical, timeless, special musical gems have resurfaced for all to enjoy.
