As usual this cd marks a continuation of Deans musical journey this cd has the raw energy of tracks like Funky stuff balanced by the ambience and dreamlike quality of sunset over Parton Beach and the sheer fun of groove thing with everything inbetween and like all his other releases Dean plays all the instruments himself but in this case three of the tracks have contributions from some outstanding musicians he has met along his journey Funky Stuff and Summer in the Park have outstanding guitar solos by Paul Barnes and East Meets West shines with the great drums of Iain Taylor and the soulful vocals of Randolph Matthews if you enjoy music that thinks outside the box but is still a great listening experience music that is not trying to sound like everyone else but by someone who listens and is influenced by all forms of music then takes all those influences to follow his own path then this is your sound
