Basically SoS got formed back in 1999. They are three members Intrikt, Cloud 9, and Dj Phenom. Cloud 9 and Intrikt are half-brothers and Phenom is a mutual friend. They formed because of their love for the hiphop artform. Intrikt and Cloud 9 write the tight lyrics and Phenom provides the tight beats. They come from South Florida which is not really a place associated with real hiphop, but they hope to be the exception. With a variety of inspirations spanning from many genres, their style is just as varied. They write to express themselves and to voice their cynical views on life.
