The Sound of Hope.... What does that mean? We know what hope looks like. We know what it feels like to find hope… Most of us know, because we are privileged to have it so abundantly in our lives. But what does hope sound like? For those of us who believe in Christ and the sacrifice He made, we should know the answer. Three words… “It is finished.” Those are words that sealed the covenant and the forgiveness of sins for all mankind for eternity… Those are words of hope for us, and to a world that does not know Him yet. The Sound of Hope Project is an attempt to spread those words to those who need to hear it… Through worship, through music… through love. How? A generous portion of the proceeds will go directly to helping those in need. Compassion International is a ministry that spreads hope to children all over the world by providing life-saving and life-changing supplies and food. The best part is that they do this entirely in the name of the only One Who can bring true hope. Our goal through The Sound of Hope Project is to provide enough financial support that we can take care of one child at a time for the remainder of their eligibility in the Compassion program. This will take a considerable amount of support, but I believe it can and will happen. The child chosen will be on the top of the urgent-needs list, and once the financial goal is met for him or her, we will move on down the list.
