The purpose of this improvised composition on the mridangam is to introduce listeners to the moving elements of South Indian grooves in a five-minute showcase. The majority of the performed content is often referred to as "sarvalaghu" or naturally flowing rhythm. Many of the grooves will make you tap your feet, bob your head and simply help you relate to rhythm. Listeners often find these types of grooves calming. The composition builds on the various colors and textures of grooves from basic phrases, hoping to tell a seamless yet climactic story as time goes on.
