This debut album from G Precious covers many aspects of my life to include Death, Family, Love, Crushes, Passion, Loss, Struggles, and Hope. I was born on January 21 in Ohkay Owingeh (San Juan Pueblo) New Mexico. I am half Native American and half Black. I grew up on the reservation and was raised by my grandmother Gregorita Atencio who is a potter. I am the second of eight children. What makes my music unique is that I tell the story of my life, there is nothing fancy about my life. I don't talk about having money, cars, or "living the life." This is where I hope to be someday and pay it forward, help my family and my people. Everyday is a struggle, and this is just the first step for me in the right direction.
