Forming the Void has been the brain-child of singer James Marshall for many years. With the addition of lead guitarist Shadi Al-Khansa in 2012, Forming the Void truly began to take shape. Shortly thereafter, Jelly Boyd, a drummer with emphasis on poly-rhythmic syncopations, was added to the line-up. These three musicians began to merge their styles and discover what made them unique as players and how to best showcase each of their individual talents through songwriting. Rounding out this quarto is Dylan Hebert on bass whose background in classical guitar will certainly prove to be an asset in the future; Dylan joined the band shortly after the recording of their debut album.
