Hip Hop Soul. That's the genre of music that Daniel Laurent has carved for himself. All of the influences that inspired the music are paid homage to on this project. From Nas to Beanie Sigel, subtle but very clear references are used to tap the spirit of those who love 90s Hip Hop music. Often times when people say "real Hip Hop" its just not good. Music that does not sonically sound appeasing and is marketable does not translate into authentic music and true to the essence.
