He has performed at venues such as Hollywood's famed Whisky A Go-Go and San Francisco's legendary Hotel Utah, as well as the 2015 South By Southwest festival in Austin. Born in New Jersey and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Jason was gifted with a musical upbringing, with a musician for a father and a musically supportive mother. Through the years, Jason has proven himself to be a musical tour-de-force, teaching himself guitar, bass, piano, organ, drums, ukulele, mandolin, and banjo. As a solo performer and frontman, he has managed to take his talents to venues from San Francisco's Biscuits & Blues to the House of Blues in Hollywood, as well as a special performance at the 2010 Outside Lands Festival and three performances at the SF and LA editions of the long-running International Pop Overthrow Festival in 2014-16, as well as adding festival dates in Seattle and New York this year. He has also performed at venues such as the Grove of Anaheim, LA’s Hotel Cafe, and a brief appearance at the 2010 Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco. Jason released his first full-length, self-penned album, "Real Love," in July 2012 to rave reviews from fans and critics alike. The follow-up, 'Coming Home', was released in June 2014 and went on to win several awards and was placed on annual best-of lists, and was promoted with a nationwide tour. He began writing his third album not long after the release of 'Coming Home,' but it would take two years, much soul-searching, and visits to seven states to complete. For this record, Jason drew inspiration from classic artists such as Sam Cooke, Smokey Robinson, and Tom Petty and blended it with more contemporary flavors, making for a record that is equal parts familiar and fresh, making it instantly timeless.
