Taking on the mindset of “Chill Mode” allows you to be in any situation at hand and yet remain in full authority while being untroubled. Whether it’s someone having a rough time dealing with the regular responsibilities of life or someone going through a time of suffering, Chill Mode is a state of being in which one can remain unscathed. It’s clear that several songs on the album carry an anointing that flow beyond the limits of music. They speak to the spirit. The first song “Immunity” brings you in and guides you to being immune to this world. Similar to diplomatic immunity, believers can walk in immunity if they have discovered who they are and more importantly, who’s they are. You can call this a sort of kingdom immunity. Things on this earth should not shake us out of our peace or our “Chill Mode”. We are exempt from liability and insusceptible to disease. This song is very melodic and distinct in musical arrangement. The second song “Chill Mode” explains how Deacon operates in these phenomena. This is a musically creative and informative song. Pure genius. The song “He Covered Me” is a testimonial to how The Lord covered Deacon through one of the most perilous times in his life – a criminal trial. Maliciously and slanderously accused, Deacon was at a point in life where the only thing that would see him through the fiery furnace was his faith in God. Through perseverance and long suffering, “Not Guilty” was the decision in the end as God Almighty beat the foes of His anointed before his face. Songs such as “Everythangz Gonna Be Okay” “Ima Make It” (which is the first video from the album), offer hope to those who may need it. This is by far Deacon’s best work to date and listeners can bank on getting a quality product with this album. It is lyrical, musical and spiritual. By the time you get to the end of the album you will be so high that you won’t want to come down. And you shouldn’t! Remain in Chill Mode. This is a must have album.
