Vexed at Every Turn (apres Erik Satie) was created by Chris Peck (Realization) and Christian Matjias (Basic Tracks) on Vexations, Erik Satie's enigmatic work that calls for the player to perform the work 840 times in succession. Vexed.... is built on Satie's composition, but takes the direction of 840 repetitions into a re-imagined realm that allows the listener to experience the work in just under one hour, instead of the eighteen plus hours required if one was to experience the work in linear, or real time.
