Starting their collaboration in spring 2015, the 5 musicians did their first live gig together on a windy August evening in well renowned Café Stetti in Port Gislöv, southern Sweden. While still forming their sound and identity, the band then used singer Patricia's name and simply called themselves "Patricia's". Their repertoire is a wide mix of pop/rock/soul/jazz and country. Mainly performing original songs, the band occasionally cover work of their favorite artists such as Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan and various hits from all decades. All 5 members being southern Swedes, this is the home base and heart of the band. The creative work and rehearsals take place at studio Skåneton, Juell Records studio in the southern Swedish countryside outside Trelleborg. Patricia Ahlborn, singer-songwriter and piano, working solo for many years. Writes a wide mix of genres like pop, rock, soul, jazz and country. Lead singer and songwriter in April Spring. Also worked with dancing and acting, loves musicals. Some favorite artists are Norah Jones, Bruce Springsteen, Coldplay and MJ. Henrik Wällersten, keyboard, guitar and backing vocals. Played in several setups, most recently with Sunpeach and Stereolife. Influenced by David Bowie, The Rolling Stones, U2, Springsteen, Coldplay, The National mm. Tony Juell, base worked with music for several years, both on stage and in studio. Active guitarist in the Agaton band. He has previously played with Backa Boys, Jack Juells trio, Stereolife, Klåpex mm. Pottering extra as studio cleaner sometimes. :-) Anders Zetterlund, lead guitar and backing vocals with many years of experience in various bands in the Malmoe/Lund region. Played with, among others Excentric Blues band, Stinky Toys, Stereolife and others. Slingmaster with a bluesy touch. Influenced by Jimi Hendrix, Tom Petty and Bob Dylan. Niclas Ingvarsson, drums and percussion. Played in several setups throughout the years in various genres such as jazz, soul, pop and rock, Sunpeach, Stinky Toys and Stereolife. Influenced by The National, My Morning Jacket, Amazon and Belle and Sebastian.
