Soft Core Powwow.... a gentle rendition of the powwow beat, a blend of drum, vocals, piano, guitar, flute and other instruments, while holding onto the integrity of the tribal music of the eastern First Nations of Canada. Tribal Spirit has been recording cooperatively with various eastern powwow groups over the years. The idea to create a gentle, softer album with the offering of dynamic beat of the powwow drum, came out of a drive home from an all day recording of Black Bear. ......the powwow is over, time for some quiet moments and you still feel the drum....
