With A Driven Spirit Franklin Caesar has assembled a hugely talented group to perform his compositions. They hail from South America, the Caribbean, Europe and Africa and they coalesced into the musical entity in the Netherlands. Naturally the traditional roots of each performer illuminate this music. The effort;ess technique of there training and affinity for the modern idioms of urban grooves and the sounds of Latin America and Africa are also embedded in the DNA of this music. A gifted multi-instrumentalist, Franklin Caesar combines a depth of sensitivity and intensity that results in a level of mastery on soprano, tenor and flute that is rarely seen in one person.
