Stanley Keith is an artist that has withstood the test of time. He was first discovered in 1997, when he performed for a talent show at Curtis Senior High School in Tacoma, Washington. Stanley Keith, being born and raised in Jasper, Tennessee, grew up in hard times facing everything from poverty to racism. He was raised in a Spiritual environment on which Jesus Christ was the model of his everyday life. As a teenager, Stanley Keith dealt with rejection, loneliness, depression, anger, and all that came with a dysfunctional lifestyle. He found that poetry, music, and sports were his source outside of church, that would take him to a place of peace. He eventually moved to Tacoma in hopes of starting a relationship with his mother. He worked his way through that portion of his life using football and music to propel him to a future that lead him to Central Washington University. As a sophomore, Stanley Keith dropped out of college and football to follow his mother to Phoenix, as he was still looking to build a relationship with his mother. The streets drew him in and he fell into drugs, sex, and vulgar music. He signed his first record deal in Phoenix and began to travel to other cities and countries. While travelling, he would fall into more drugs and the party scene became a daily lifestyle. Stanley Keith witnessed a co-band member committing suicide while chasing the dreams of being a Hollywood Superstar. Stanley Keith was involved in many projects after that year in 2004, where he began to fall closer to death and farther from life. He had done too many drugs, faced too many challenges, and lost too many friends reaching for Hollywood. Hollywood to Stanley Keith was the promise land and he continued to reach for it. In year 2006 Stanley Keith was witnessed to by a barber shop owner right before his concert in Scottsdale, Arizona. Stanley Keith was asked, if he died would he go to Heaven or Hell. For some reason, that question haunted Stanley Keith daily until he finally made a decision in October 2006 to walk out of the industry. He stopped his tour short and found himself at an alter in Chandler, Arizona at the Door Christian Center. Since then, Stanley Keith has been freed from drugs, depression, alcohol, anger, confusion, and loneliness. He answered the call of God and now he is pioneering a church with his wife and kids near Miami, Florida. Stanley Keith has been inspired to release an album exposing Hollywood, in hopes to save the lives of many, who seek the Hollywood life style as a place of refuge. "Taking Down Hollywood" is the most you will ever hear about the entertainment business and how it takes innocent lives daily.
