Summerlyn is a 12 year old Southern singer/songwriter/nusician that loves many different genres of music. Her sound on the new single is country/rock, but she tends to bend toward more of an indie sound on many of her ballads. She enjoys the individual sound of Colbie Calliat, but also enjoys old favorites like Patsy Cline. Summerlyn's sound has been compared to Adele and Taylor Swift, but she feels that she stands out on her own when it comes to performing.
