Late in 1988 John Patrick formed the Techno-Industrial Band VOICE OF DESTRUCTION. V.O.D. recorded, toured and subsequently burned out in 1993. Patrick felt ground up by the Industry and quit music entirely in 1994. Fast forward to 2012- John grabbed a computer and got the bug again... and in 2013 King Hookiss was born!
