Rob McDougall is a Canadian Singer-Songwriter, Musician and Producer hailing from the Canadian prairies own rock 'n' roll city, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. His debut full length album "Acoustified" will be released in 2016. A talented songwriter, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, Rob handled the majority of the guitar, bass, piano, drums and percussion duties on his debut album. "Acoustified" is the culmination of songs he wrote throughout countless days and many late nights within the last 2 years, playing his favourite Martin acoustic guitar while putting pen to paper. The album was recorded, produced, mixed & mastered by Rob in his own professional recording studio "City Tonight Productions" in Winnipeg. His musical heritage is both powerful and dynamic, his bloodline runs deep within a well known and prosperous family of musicians who have been signed to major labels, most notably his uncle Donnie McDougall who shot to fame in the 1970's with Canada's own rock royalty, "The Guess Who". Rob's songs are full of meaningful and introspective lyrical content, followed up with catchy guitar hooks and strong vocal harmonies. His musical influences are vast and wide, ranging far and wide from bluesy hard rock to country and everything in between, taking his audience on an incredible musical journey. He released the first single "There's A Place" as an album teaser in early 2016, receiving rave reviews, local media attention and ultimately thousands of downloads! Rob is excited to be heading back out on the live concert stage with a tour in 2016 followed up with a sophomore album release in the near future, stay tuned!
