简介

Ringo Starr专辑介绍:Ringo Starr & His All Starr Band Live 2006 is a 2008 live album by rock musician and ex-Beatle Ringo Starr and his All-Starr Band. It was recorded during his 2006 All-Starr Tour in Uncasville, Connecticut. Personnel: Ringo Starr - Vocals, drums Billy Squier - Vocals, guitar Richard Marx - Vocals, guitar Hamish Stuart - Vocals, bass Rod Argent - Vocals, keyboards Sheila E. - Vocals, drums, percussion Edgar Winter - Vocals, saxophone, keyboards Executive Producer: Ringo Starr Musical Director: Mark Rivera Recorded, Mixed and Mastered by: Bruce Sugar at Sugarman Studios, Hollywood. In 1989 Ringo first put together a band comprising well-known musicians that he called the "All-Starr Band" and hit the road. This outing in 2006 was the 9th All Starr gathering, with an ensemble that featured newcomers: Rod Argent (Zombies), Billy Squier, Richard Marx, Edgar Winter and Hamish Stuart (AWB and McCartney Band Member) Plus three-time All Starr Sheila E (Prince and the Revolution). As with every outing the highlights were the two and a half hour hits filled extravaganza performed by amazing musicians uniquely collaborating on their greatest material. Opening with Ringo's solo smash It Don't Come Easy this rendition was anchored by Sheila E.'s drumming, Billy's guitar and Edgar Winter's sax. What makes this ensemble so powerful is the mutual respect and admiration the All Starrs have for one another and the connection the collaborative effort makes with the audience. Other highlights include Sheila E in support of Edgar Winter on Frankenstein, Richard Marx and Billy Squier double teaming guitars on each others solo hits Don't Mean Nothing and Everybody Wants You. Edgar's support during Rod's Hold Your Head Up, Hamish's solid bass on Sheila E's A Love Bizarre and everyone contributing to a stellar four-part harmony on Ringo's classic Photograph and the only song credited to Lennon/McCartney/Starkey What Goes On. It all culminates with the iconic With A Little Help From My Friends which has become an apt anthem.
