After years of songwriting, producing, and engineering her own music, in order to officially launch herself as a music artist on the microphone and in the studio, Babii Cris decided to create an all original self-produced, self-recorded and self-engineered album. Not only does she always dedicate herself & put hard work into the production of her music, but at the same time she includes her own form of expression & inspiration in each song. Since she was little, she took to writing rhymes and lyrics to be able to vent and express herself, and as she grew older, she only got better by her practice, here's a little of what she has to say about her content, "I love to be able to relate to millions of people through my music, I want to show them that they aren't alone in some of the situations that they face. We all struggle, we all have flaws, flaws that we even see more in ourselves than others do, we've all been through some bad relationships, and we all at one point just wanted to fit in, but through my music, I just want to help show everyone that I too know how it feels to feel so low, and have to search the craziest places to find the little pieces of themselves to accept who they are and be themselves. I want to help be the voice of those who can't find theirs yet, and I want the whole world to find their voice, spread the positivity and happiness. It's a long shot, but I want to be a spark in a revolution, of righteousness and happiness, and I am going to dedicate my life to helping with that, even if it takes one song at a time." -Babii Cris. The idea to create this album came to Babii Cris about half-way into 2014. Since she has been familiar with writing her own songs, producing her own instrumentals, recording and engineering her own work, she thought, what a better way to introduce herself to the world than to release her first ever album that she would be 100% responsible for musically? The work didn't come easy, and sleep was often sacrificed, however she didn't give up, and stayed determined to complete the album in time to start off the new year, 2015 with a bang.
