Dave was born and raised in South Africa and was initiated as a sangoma (shaman) in 2002. Since then he has been receiving songs in his dreams. They can be in English, Zulu, Celtic, Chassidic, Yiddish, Spanish or other languages, depending on which ancestor is communicating. Though Dave is not a musician, the ancestors have told him the songs are for healing and must be sung by him. Dave practices indigenous healing and is a board-certified surgical urologist in Santa Barbara, CA.
