2009 marks the culmination of what seems like a lifetime of hard work and countless dead end roads, being approached by so many so called 'industry pros' and record label 'wannabes' selling the dream of stardom and fame to an eager and talented group of guys bucking for success. But through it all John 'J Roc' Howell 3rd, Stephen 'Stevie Diamond' Potts, George 'Geno Starr' McIvor 3rd & Brandon 'B Hollywood' Snead stuck to their guns, perfecting their craft and waiting for the right time. That time has come for Enkore with the signing of a record deal with Smoketown Records in the summer of 2008. Now in the process of finalizing their agreement and getting their marketing strategies in place, Enkore is getting set to release 'The Basement' in the spring of 2009 and launch their first single 'The Record' and the music video which was shot in October 2008. From the looks of things, it seems the sky is the limit for this R&B group of (4) 20 something guys from the DMV
