Explosive, Strong and In-depth is one way to describe the lyrical delivery of J-Rez. After releasing the much anticipated “Mini-Van Music’ mix tape J- Rez has gained much recognition and respect from the communities he serves. Influenced by lyrics that leave an imprint on the soul, J-Rez became inspired to put pen to paper at a young age as a way to express his world and the world around him. The once timid, soft-spoken youth combined this ability with music and has matured into a full-blown musical powerhouse with an explosive stage presence – and belief that everyone has a unique gift to offer.

J-Rez released his first studio album under his own independent record label RepRez Entertainment in collaboration with D’Koloynzd Records. in Barrie, Ontario. J-Rez has been sharpening his skills as a rapper since the age of 12 when he spit his first freestyle. In the past three years J-rez has produced Cd's for his group "Rezset", Released a solo album, two mixtapes, ghost written for aspiring artists, travelled the country, and blessed stages with such talented artists as Digging Roots, Gangis Khan aka Camouflage, Derek Miller, Kinnie Starr, Drezus, Winnipeg Boyz, HellNBack, James Blood, Joey Styles, Da Skelpa Squad, Mayhem Morearty, Lakota Jones and many more.
