Starting At The Roots is the debut album of Italian Reggae Queen Ali Root. Since starting a few short years ago as an artist in the local Italian live reggae scene where she has opened the show for Rita Marley, she has risen up the rankings, working with French producer Pablo Uwa from Paris and Top Cat under his producer persona Nine Lives in the UK.

The album Starting At The Roots combines Ali Roots powerful delivery with the sharp catchy lyrics that are Top Cat's trademark, over ten of Nine Lives banging reggae and urban beats. With her international recognition growing every day with incredible performances in Italy and around Europe Ali Roots is following in the same path as Queen Ifrica and Queen Omega with a sing jay style and conscious lyrics and topics.
