This three track E.P. was created In the early months of 2012, André Costello and Sam Buonovolonta (Sam Goodwill). Recorded in three days, the record captures more of a live sound than previous works, minimizing auxiliary instrumentation. Using ample room mics, the album captures the space of the house it was recorded in. Also, using actual tape in the process makes for a crisp, warm sound.

As Costello describes, “a truly good song’s core is its ability to be performed with only acoustic and voice.” That’s exactly what drives his music; a uniquely rich croon that sidles right alongside indie folk contemporaries, but he stands on his own against genre forebears.
