Out of the ashes of Philadelphia act The Gerunds, Toy Cannons has developed a unique sound that can be best described as a melodic mix of new wave, oldies and pop punk. Toy Cannons is fronted by former Gerunds and Grady Bassist/vocalist Ben Goldberg. Toy Cannons also includes Jeff Tareila who was part of the local acoustic punk act Top Soil, Alex Bryant of Slush Pump and Bill "Spirit Bag" Noren of BNG.
