简介

Brittain Stafford’s Bio Brittain Stafford has always been light years ahead of todays music world. No thanks to him, to God be the glory!!! Brittain started off playing the drums as a 2 year old little boy, by the time he was five he began to accompany his mother Betty Stafford, as she sang and played the organ and piano for some of the largest churches in Philadelphia PA, where Brittain was born. Brittain spent most of his childhood and adult life in sunny California. In his young teens he found himself playing the drums in the school jazz band. His love and passion for music had no boundaries; he also played in a heavy metal band, pop, R&B groups, and of course his roots were in the church. Around 19 years old, he found himself in New York with his cousin Ruben Wills, in a basement recording studio. This is where his journey began in the recording industry. After spending time on the East coast, he found himself back in the beautiful city of Los Angeles Ca. Brittain would later meet with his cousin, Scott "Shavonie" Parker and partner Louis "buster" Brown, who are responsible for helping create a new era of gospel music; from Kirk Franklin to Yolanda Adams, the hit motion picture The Prince of Egypt and Boomerang, just to name a few. Mark Hatchfield was also very key in helping Brittain reach his full potential. By giving him full access to his recording studio and giving him tips on how to better engineer, this all helped shape Brittain's sound. It was under Scott"Shavonie " Parker and Louis "Buster" Brown's, guidance that Brittain was able to truly blossom and become not only the solid recording artist that he is today, but also an amazing songwriter, producer, and engineer as well. Brittain was blessed throughout his music career to have many very gifted and renowned mentors. Gospel living legend Andrae Crouch, David Thomas from Take 6, Derek Allen "D.O.A", and the late great Rory Bennett; all of whom have had a hand in shaping music history. But His mother Betty, has been the greatest of them all, encouraging Brittain to keep growing and never give up on his craft. Her soulful voice, and amazing talent to play the piano and organ, was the beginning of Brittain's evolution as a well-rounded musician extraordinaire. Brittain's independently released debut album "Don't Wait" is a testament to his life and his walk with God. Brittain has written, produced, engineered, and arranged almost all of the music you will hear on this project. The album "Don't Wait" will feature the musical talent of: Derek Allen (bass guitar & electric guitar), Kenneth Crouch (keyboard/strings), Brigg Sterns (piano)Mark Hatchfield (lead guitar/guitar), and Scott "Shavoni" Parker (background arrangement/bass guitar)Nehemiah E Johnson (keyboard). Brittain is also very excited to introduce his daughter Sacha Stafford who co-wrote "Let It Go" along with his wife Michelle. Sacha is also featured on the songs "Do You Know Me" and "Walking Down The Street". She is a unique and extraordinary talent. Although Sacha is in her teens, the first note she sings will captivate you and leave you wanting more. This album is more than just a digital download, it is the true stories about life, struggles, grace, mercy, and forgiveness. Above all, the heart of this album is the call to salvation, to both the sinner and the"saint". Jesus is coming. Don't wait.
