I'm Dudley Allen, writer and composer of this song. I have been playing music since I was 5 years, when I started playing the drums in my father's band. As time progressed, the pedal steel guitar fascinated me. I made the switch, from drums to pedal steel guitar, in the 1970's, and have had the opportunity to play with many big artists. My sister, Kim Allen, did the vocals and is a tremendous singer and artist. I wish her great success...

I have always written songs along the way, and have had some recorded by different artists. I love to write and believe every song should tell a story. I hope that everyone will enjoy the "stories in my songs."
