简介
ALBUM INSTRUMENTATION: tongue drum (Am), moyo drums (Dm + Am), shruti box, singing bowl, shakers, rattles, seed pods, finger cymbals, bells, talking drum, djembe, doumbek, ocean drum, tambourine, metal doumbek, tubular drum, pueblo drum, tuning forks CD RECOMMENDED: Movements 0 - 6 are intended to be heard in sequence with no pauses between tracks. Because of this, having the physical CD is highly recommended. If you are purchasing MP3 downloads, note that your MP3 player may add a pause between tracks on playback, which will interrupt the flow of the journey. This album is intended to help facilitate the perfect flow to accompany an hour-long yoga class but can be used for many other personal practices and group activities. It's great music for any active, moving meditation. Some things that we enjoy while listening to it: cooking, socializing, stretching, dancing, staying calm while driving, working, getting a massage, relaxing, self-reflecting, loving, and living. The journey begins at "Movement 0: Making Contact." produced by Jason K. Norris & Danny Badorine performance by Jason K. Norris | recording by Danny Badorine (No synthesizers, electronic instruments, nor artificial sounds were used in performing this album.) -------- Jason K. Norris, PhD(c), is a life-long musician and researcher of consciousness, specializing in dream work and sound-based therapies. His doctoral research examines "sonic mysticism" and "rhythm psychology" within various cross-cultural healing traditions—focusing on the transformative effects of entrainment (i.e., when one moving rhythm matches another moving rhythm). Founder of Lucid Drum, Jason regularly facilitates workshops, performances, drum circles, dream work, sound healings, and special events. He is involved with organizations such as the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) and the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS). Danny Badorine is a freelance sound engineer in Northern California. He splits his time between touring the world as a live engineer; designing commercial sound systems; and operating his Novato, CA based studio. Danny also enjoys working as a producer with acts in his community to help them elevate their craft to the level that they desire. -------- We hope that you enjoy listening to this as much as we enjoyed making it! More to come on Volume 2...
