简介
Fawn Segerson, the beautiful blonde baby toe-head was born December 12, 1984 (8+4=12....12 is definitely Fawn's lucky and favorite number). Although Fawn spent many hours outside, falling out of the trees in her hometown, Roxbury, CT, she also had her domestic time too. She started taking classical piano lessons at the age of five. She was no prodigy, but with her parents patience, Fawn's persistence and her grandma's old upright piano, Fawn started to develop her obsession which eventually evolved into her own unique style, that one can only classify as "it sounds like Fawn". Fawn continued to push her parents love towards her by studying voice on and off throughout her youth. At 19, Fawn attended the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA, where she received a merit scholarship for excellence in music (things CAN change). At Holy Cross, Fawn thought her best chance at survival would be to major in Music and Accounting. She studied classical piano with Chris Hanshaw, and classical voice with Jennifer Ashe. It was during her college years that she became flat-out addicted to music and in particular songwriting. She played her original music at local coffee houses, parties, and pubs. After graduation, and before she started up her more-than-fulltime job at PricewaterhouseCoopers in New York City, Fawn recorded her first album, "Scrambled Reflections", which came out October 31, 2007. Fawn started working for PricewaterhouseCoopers in September 2007; this experience only inspired her to practice more. She could often be found late at night/early-early morning serenading (hopefully) her neighbors above and below her. Fawn is in the process of recording her second album, which includes the songs, "Patient Mind" (which reemphasizes her mothers advice of enjoying life's journey, and just having a little patience that good things will happen....a timeless peice of knowledge) and "Nomadic Hold" (her first song written on the guitar). Look for these singles on itunes and myspace in a couple of months! Fawn is only at the beginning of her musical career, if no songs of hers appeal to you now, check her out in a couple of months because you (or even her) never know what she'll write next!
