A guitarist for over 50 years and a mandolinist for about 6, I've always loved recording, and began with my own music in the days of 4-track reel-to-reel recorders, finally graduating to computer-based digital recording. Recorded at home over many years, these tunes were composed for my own satisfaction, with no intention to earn a living or any other motive. However, I'm proud of these pieces, and have picked as many as will fit on one CD and 'launched them into the void.' Mostly driven by finger style guitar, the tenor of the songs is akin to Tom Leher, the guitar more like John Fahey or Leo Kottke. I'm just happy others will be able to hear these now.
