Guitarist, Dan Kirby, performed various versions of Amazing Grace on guitar and created a sound. Today that 'sound' (an intense southern blues style) continues to be an important testament to his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. "Blues is the basic of who I am as a musician" says Kirby, "From there I give my best". In a secular market where the main theme centers on romantic love songs, Kirby's The Beautiful You & Me, and Cruise For Two, fit in quite nicely. The guitar instrumentals range from blues to ballads, and on this collection, Kirby's acoustic Shenendoah Martin is all that's used.
