简介
Ann Caldwell works full time as a jazz, blues and R and B vocalist. Ann is a master of accents, accurately recreating the tonalities of speech which are important to both jazz and blues. ( anncaldwell.com ) While working on this project, Ann has aloud herself the privilege of being herself. She takes the liberty of interpreting lyrics using melody to set the mood and feeling of the song. She believes that music is a wonderful medium to use if you want to tell a story. While she is very aware of the nuances that go along with jazz singing, she has deliberately made a recording that she wants folks to listen to. It's great if you like to dance with a partner! Ann is fortunate to have the exceptional song writing contributions of Sean Waterman (Atlanta) and Donna Maria Smith (Washington,DC) Ann has a long list of performances as a jazz and blues singer.
