Treehouse, is the whimsical and sonic autobiography of KOAD that explores the emotional extremes of growing up through the lens of an eighteen year old Indian American boy living in the San Fernando Valley. Propelled by swordplay lyrics at turns magical and comical, its distinctive rap beats are complemented by diverse threads of soul, pop and funk, even Indian tabla hand drums over hip-hop rhythms.
