DOXA means glory, honor, splendor, power, and praise. The goal of our church and band is to give “doxa” to God in everything we do. The CD title, “I Am Yours”, represents that time in our lives when the Holy Spirit convicted and revealed to us a need for our Savior. After this conviction, we repented and surrendered to God saying, “I Am Yours”. My best friend in the world, J.E.N., passed away in July 2013, and God gave me the song “Rest Assured” as a comforting truth during that time. My prayer is that this song, along with the others, encourages you and gives you hope despite any trials you might be facing. The goal of this project was simple. The songs were written for the church with the purpose of giving ALL the glory to God. We pray that these songs will encourage, challenge, and motivate you in your daily walk with Jesus Christ. -Tyler Hennessee (DOXA Worship Director)
