Sam has been singing since he was very small, at home, in the car, at church, and later, started writing songs as well. Being from Texas, his songs have a country feel to them, with a gospel, folk/rock flavor. This compilation was put together after a few trips to Romania, and witnessing the plight of the street children and orphans there. This album was recorded in Massachusetts in 2001, with participation from Sam's many friends from as far as Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Sam spent many years living in Brazil, Argentina, Venezuela, Peru, and Puerto Rico, always singing and writing songs. These songs will move you, and stir up emotions, as well as give you a feeling of hope for the future in spite of the pain and struggles of the present.
