This album was created and developed by Mike Sasich, Greg Shaw, Melahn Atkinson and myself. We took my songs from the last 8 years and imagined them as an album. I started with scratch Vocals and Guitars. Recorded Drums, then Bass, then Guitars, then some more Drums and Bass, Pianos, Synthesizers, Computer joysticks (no joke) and Vocals. I was also very lucky to have some of Utah’s finest musicians record as well. People of all backgrounds, all music styles- all very talented. What happened was a fresh outlook on these songs, some of them I had written 8 years ago, some my old band Marinade has been performing for years (Thank you so much “Dad”, Jimmy and Spence), and some that haven’t been heard a whole lot. I am very thankful to the people who came and created something magical with me. I want humans to feel emotion when they listen to the record. Everyone came into the studio and really played and sang with heart and soul. We cannot forge forward in this music business without the love and support of so many people. I hope you all know how much we love our families, friends, band aids, band mates, fans and the feeling that music provides our souls. Please enjoy what I consider to be my first full length album.
