ISOULJAHS: A Decade of Foundation 1993 – 2003 the new double CD set release by So.Cal/ Hawaii Reggae artist RAS MIKEY on the Ras Youths Intl. label. A compilation of music culminated from his first two albums with the ISOULJAHS Band and other unreleased recordings. This collection of 25 Tracks is a throwback to the early days of the shaping of this young veteran artist and his Reggae roots. Serving as the preface to his forth coming solo album, the Roots, Lovers, Dub, and Dancehall style tracks here all provide a look into the formation of who he is. Old time favorites include, “Keep On (Give Jah Thanks)”, the acoustic sounds of “Livity”, “Crucial Roots”, “Wadada” feat. Natty Roots, along with many others. RAS MIKEY & ISOULJAHS were some of the forerunners of US Based Reggae bands that are dominating the genre today. They recorded these two albums, a few singles, and toured consistently thoughout Califonia for many years then moved to Hawaii in 2005. He continues to record, produce, perform, and tour with the band and is currently working with other international artists, musicians, and producers in bringing forth his first solo album.
