简介
Please click on the sailboat to open the album to listen to individual songs. This CD contains my special RELATIONSHIP LYRICS which may remind you of some relationships you encountered in your lifetime. My basic upbeat melodies fit well even with lyrics about some relationships than don’t always turn out successful. Rhythm styles include Cha-Cha, Rhumba, Fox Trot, and Swing (Jitterbug). See if either fit your experiences. Let me know: tedsou@austin.rr.com Here is some information about the VOCALIST on my SMOOTH JAZZ 2 Album: Deb Acevedo-Tamminga is a talented voice teacher, who performs both solos and with choral groups in church and elsewhere. She has a real savvy for music. She has taught voice in the local public school system earlier. She is in demand locally for vocal request. She is the vocalist for songs number: 1, 5, and 8. Kathy Street has teamed up with Tommy Byrd on guitar for weekly multiple performances at local clubs in and around the Austin area. She has experienced joint concerts with other vocalists as well. Her voice is a standout, and she has received awards locally for her talented vocals. She is the vocalist for songs number: 2 Kenny Williams is a talented vocalist, and has toured the USA with a nationally recognized men’s chorus group. He is able to move from genre to genre with ease. He is very energetic and sings with great precision. He is the vocalist on song # 6. Virgil Seals is sought out for special vocals by churches locally in Austin. He has an agent in Nashville to seek more opportunities. His voice is pleasant to hear, and his diction is excellent. Virgil sings on Song # 9. Donna Lipman’s flowing vocal renditions make her well suited for soft jazz style, and especially with slower tempos like ballads or blues. She is coaching aspiring vocalist, and has earned certification in life coaching as well. Donna sings songs Number: 3, 7, 10. Karen Kohler is a talented voice teacher and soloist who has moved back to New York City. She sings well in English, French, and German languages. Her strong vocals are unforgettable. Karen is heard on song # 4. Krista Cole has a young and innocent sounding voice that is well suited for the rendering of “Hear This Music”. One can all most “hear her smiling” in her delivery in this song. Hear her on song # 11.
