"Makubenjalo" is a homecoming paean inspired by the ambitious and daring energy of Amapiano culture natives. The song is penned and performed by the genre's very own rising star Scooby Steeze and is produced by the equally acclaimed duo J&S Projects.

Scooby Steeze recalls the overwhelming rush of inspiration and appreciation he felt on his way to a gig in his hometown after a long time away, an experience he describes as an enthralling reminiscence of a homecoming. He says it only made sense for him to call upon his long time hometown producers J&S Projects for this record. That studio session would later become the birth of the upcoming collaborative album "International Pantsula".
