Sebastian Mego is an artist in every sense of the word. Born and Raised in Los Angeles, California, Sebastian grew up listening to legends like Donny Hathaway and Marvin Gaye. Never in his wildest dreams did he imagine that one day one of his many influencers would come to discover him, Stevie Wonder. After meeting Stevie at the age of 16 he soon attracted the attention of Steve Greenberg, then president of Columbia Records. After hearing him sing live in his office he signed Sebastian to a record deal on the spot. However, a few months after signing Steve Greenberg left Columbia Records and Sebastian was placed under the Sony Urban label. Turmoil developed at Sony and Sony Urban was dissolved. Nevertheless, Sebastian was determined to live his dream of being a successful vocalist and songwriter and continued to push towards his goals. Music has always been Sebastian's outlet and he has long been regarded as a "singers singer" - technical, soulful, and unforgettable. However, he has also worked hard to develop his craft as a talented songwriter. His skills have lead him to work and write in the studio with talented singer/songwriters such as Bruno Mars and Solange Knowles. Sebastian can also be heard on Stevie Wonder's latest album, A Time to Love, the album's title track. Most recently, he was featured on rapper, Freddie Gibbs, critically acclaimed mixtape, "Cold Day In Hell" and was invited to perform in the Netherlands at the Hague Jazz Festival. He has also lent his voice to the Disney Channel, TV ONE as well as performing on several national commercials. With such an amazing voice and a killer pen game, Sebastian Mego is not only destined for stardom, but is already carving his niché as an artist with a voice that will withstand the test of time.
