Every human being has a story! It is the same for every piece of original music. Mine is one of overcoming triumph. Like many others, I had become so burdened down with life that I was not living. Then came my diagnosis: Cancer. Stage 4. Colon, liver, and lymph nodes. My response... "I'm not dying!" Once I determined that, the miracle began. As a result of prayer and chemotherapy, the tumor markers began to plummet from 92 to 1, and I realized I had been given another chance, so I determined to get busy. Over the next few weeks I recorded over 45 new songs. I was determined to use my second chance to do what I was created to do. Produce music that would soothe, uplift and encourage those around me. Today I am still cancer free, and am determined to appreciate, and make the most of this life I have been given. That is how I arrived at the collection you are hold in your hands. My hope and prayer is that this music would also take you to a place of gratitude for the simple things of life. It is apparent that you awoke again this morning. You are breathing. I encourage you to look at the blue sky, the sunset, at nature around you, and simply say, "thank you, God." You will be amazed at the change that will begin to occur if you are able to make a habit of doing so. One unique feature of this collection is that it was recorded in the frequency of 528 Hz, known as "the love frequency." Music recorded at this tuning is purported to fill the atmosphere with a sense of love and peace. This is an interesting research topic for the curious. May you sense the love and peace as you allow this music to infuse your environment. This is the first in a series of piano CDs designed to bring peace and contentment into the present. Additional work, presently available by Don Lewis includes "On My Way - 2014 Remix", a collection of orchestral / synth improvisations in varied musical styles. This collection has become a requested favorite to be played in several high school testing environments. The students say "it makes us calm while taking our tests." Two orchestral / synth collections for soaking and meditation entitled "Connection" and "Journey" will be available December 1.
